POLYPROPYLENE
THE FRIST EGYPTIAN GULF CO
POLYPROPYLENE
Polypropylene, a highly uniform thermoplastic polymer, was developed as a result of advancements in the polyethylene production process. In 1953, Karl Ziegler, followed by Giulio Natta in 1954, pioneered the production method for polypropylene.

PP HOMOPOLYMER
THE FRIST EGYPTIAN GULF CO
Homopolymer polypropylene is a type of thermoplastic manufactured by polymerisation, where propylene monomers react with a catalyst at high temperature and pressure. It consists exclusively of propylene monomers.

PP HOMOPOLYMER
Polypropylene copolymer (PPC) is a polymer material made by blending polypropylene with one or more comonomers, such as ethylene, butene, hexene or other olefinic compounds.

PP RANDOM
PP random copolymer (PPR or PP-RC) is preferred for its clarity, transparency and rigidity. It is created by randomly incorporating ethylene or other comonomers along the polypropylene chain, rather than as regular blocks. This random dispersion gives random copolymers improved optical properties, making them ideal for applications such as packaging that require increased transparency.
